In March 2025, Promediation and the Norwegian Ministry of foreign Affairs have launched a programme to accompany Sudan towards post-conflict stabilisation, through support for Sudanese-led Security Sector Reform (SSR) de-escalation of border relations (Eritrea, Chad), in consonance with Jeddah Declaration of Commitment to Protect the Civilians of Sudan and facilitate humanitarian dialogue between armed actors and the humanitarian community.
