  • JULES DUMASJULES DUMAS
    Jules joined Promediation’s operational team in December 2022 as a Program Assistant for West Africa. Since January 2025, he has served as West Africa Coordinator and has contributed to the implementation, management, and monitoring of our initiatives in Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, and the northern Gulf of Guinea region. Jules holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Sciences Po Lyon and a Master’s degree in Conflict Management (Peace Studies) from Paris Dauphine University. He also completed an exchange year at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States. Throughout his academic journey, Jules focused on conflict analysis and transformation, particularly in West and Central Africa. He began his professional path with Promediation as an intern in April 2022, following an earlier internship with an international organization.
  • JEAN-BAPTISTE LIGNIERESJEAN-BAPTISTE LIGNIERES
    Jean-Baptiste joined Promediation’s operational team in February 2025 as Programme Manager for West Africa. He is responsible for overseeing our programme in the cross-border areas of Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, and Mali. Prior to joining Promediation, Jean-Baptiste worked as a senior consultant with several strategy and economic intelligence firms in Paris, Abidjan, and Monrovia. He also served as a security analyst specializing in Sub-Saharan Africa at GEOS. He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics (LSE), with a focus on the Sahel region, as well as degrees in History and Urban Planning from Sorbonne University.
  • MAHAMOUD DIALLOMAHAMOUD DIALLO
    Mahamoud Diallo joined Promediation in November 2018 as a Consultant. He has held the position of Country Director for Burkina Faso since 2023. Mahamoud coordinates field activities and represents Promediation in Burkina Faso. He coordinates and strengthens relationships with various political, civil society, and administrative actors, and helps enhance their understanding of Promediation’s Action. Holding a Master’s degree (Master 2) in project and development program management, Mahamoud brings over fifteen years of experience in Burkina Faso and West Africa in the fields of community conflict prevention and management, peace promotion, social cohesion, and strengthening inter-community relations.
  • MARC VACHONMARC VACHON
    With over 25 years of international experience, Marc Vachon is an expert in humanitarian crisis management and conflict resolution. He has directed critical operations for several United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations in conflict and disaster contexts. Holding a Master’s degree in Management of International Organizations, his career path has led him to intervene in major crisis situations across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, where he supervised large-scale teams and managed complex projects involving humanitarian logistics and security. His expertise covers establishing operational structures, population access, coordinating emergency relief, and managing relations with local stakeholders. As Humanitarian Advisor at Promediation, he supports peace and security initiatives in crisis or transition contexts, collaborating with local and international actors to strengthen the resilience of vulnerable populations in crisis zones.
