Advancing peace building and political process in Sudan

Funding: Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On March 1st, 2025, Promediation and the Japanese Ministry of Foreign affairs agreed on a fund allocation from the Japanese government in the framework of an IGAD Project called “Project for advancing peace building and political process in Sudan”. The Japanese government appointed Promediation as a partner in the implementation of its activities.

The overall objective of the project is to support Sudanese-owned and Sudanese-led efforts towards achieving sustainable peace, stability, and inclusive governance in Sudan. This includes enhancing the capacity of the leadership and Sudanese actors, fostering consensus among stakeholders, and facilitating inclusive political dialogue and negotiations.
