Saurea Didry Stancioff

Saurea joined the operational team at Promediation in January 2022 as a Program Officer focused on the Gulf of Guinea and the Sahel. She now works as a consultant. She holds a Master's degree in Strategy, Intelligence and Risk Management from Sciences Po Lille and a Master's degree in International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). During her academic career, she specialized in radicalization prevention and conflict transformation.

Saurea then developed expertise on the Great Lakes region of Africa and transitional justice by working for several years at the law firm Levy Firestone Muse, investigating the role of the French State in connection with the genocide against the Tutsis in Rwanda. She then joined the local governance team at the World Bank in Tunis, where she was responsible for monitoring technical assistance programs to Tunisian local authorities. She also led the design of a conflict risk assessment tool in Tunisia to guide World Bank programming towards the most vulnerable groups and prevent the emergence of conflicts.
